Do you keep a notebook for moves?

I never liked the idea before, because i thought memorizing combos would be too much like choreography and impede my improvisational ability...i always liked that sorta free spirit aspect of breaking. but i'm realizing a lot of people say they keep notebooks, i'm wondering if anybody here does?

Help with "Microphone Move"

Alright so in a couple months, my friends and I are gonna dance at this event at our school called "LipSync". We can dance, but during some part of our performace we gotta pretend like we're lipsyncing to the song that's playing (hence the name, LipSync).

So do you guys have any ideas of how we can put that into a bboy move?
I was thinking that one guy goes into a headstand and somebody uses his leg as a microphone. But I'm not totally sure. Any ideas?

high school dance club

So I was walking down the hallway until something caught my eye..it was a dance club advertisement for afterschool! I got excited since i want to go to the meeting next tuesday, but before that happens I wanted to know some backround information that happens in the club...So i asked my friend and she said that last year there was 20 girls no guys, a few performances at halftime...a sessioning room at school so i can bboy..hip hop style...etc

the question is...should i still go even if there is no guys, because if i do perform im the only guy and to me that feels a little emberassing, but the plus side is having 20 girls around me....etc. Id like to see anyones opinion about what I should do??

How do you get the dance floor filled with people?

So i was all hyped of my friends grad party because he said there was dancing afterwards... Everyone was waiting for the party to end so we could all dance... when the lights turned down and the laser light thing they use turned on... everyone in the party started to dance and it was FUN AS HELL.... then some bboy crew starts to bboy and everyones watching, when they finish everyone is now ashamed to dance because the bboys schooled everyone in the crowd... so everyone started to sit and the dance floor became dead...

So what i'm asking is how do i get everyone back on the dance floor after some bboys finish their sets??!?!!!?!?!?!?
