Just like last time at Payin' Dues doors are open at 1pm and the 1on1 starts 2pm on the dot. for the 1on1 competitors yall have to make it before 2pm! Sign ups stop at 2:45pm and the cap for the showcase is 32 bboys/bgirls.
REMEMBER to get your waiver forms printed and signed by a parent/guardian!!!
This time it is slightly different. 1on1's will be judged by rounds (so no more time limits), but the 4on4 will be timed battles! 4on4 Finals may have a 15min or even 20 min limit, it is not set in stone and it will be up to the MC's and the judges.
Another thing because of liability issues, you must let us know in the front if you are NOT okay with being videotaped. For those who has problem with being videotaped, u will have to make it clear to us in the front.
THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT AND HELPED OUT BEFORE AND AFTER THE JAM!! the jam was another success and the music and the battles were fire!! there wasn't a fight at the jam...it was all good times with 5-6 cyphers jumpin off which caused it to be hot as hell in there even when the AC was on...everyone was happy chillin out and even some families came out to support...
-congrats to head hunters for taking the 4on4 against royalty...that battle was one of the dopest closest battles in a while...the little squabble at the end of the battle shows how much passion these bboys have for this dance! that was pretty dope
-congrats to T-80 from gorilla warfare for takin the 1on1's against tony krooks...it was like a iron man battle these doods had to work for it...it wasn't no BS 1 round or 2 round final...these doods went at it till they couldnt breath!! hahaha
some highlights for those of you who wasn't there...
-MAD TEK for puttin most of this together and keeping the jam SMOOOOTH...no LAG at all...everything was on point and on schedule!
-HYBRID CREW DJ's BBoy drift and DJ Eternal was killlin it and did a marathon for basically 6 hours straight non stop playin hot beats

-THE JUDGING WAS ON POINT...thanks to lucid profo and rican again
-the HOSTS SCOTTY AND A-GAME were funny as hell
