why is everyone so hype about rivers? they've really downgraded in the last couple years, not to mention physicx is pretty much past his peak, why do you think he wasnt in IBE 2008?

Physicx wasn't n 2008 because born represented Rivers crew. They were only allowed one member of each crew. Rivers has other good members too.

big crews dont go cause they have already won the competion or competed at it they see no point in creating new choreographies for this event

Acutally I'm teaching English in Korea and have been taking lessons at the gamblerz studio in Yangjae. The last time I talked to Noodle and he told me they were training for boty.

just cus they won it once doesnt mean they don't have to win it again. they sort of lost face cus they werent able to defend the title and its been 5 years since.

this is so not true. winning BOTY means you're the "worlds best". serious crews train daily for shit like this. If events like these are pointless than why do they bother bboying. For some bboying is their life, not just a hobby. Crews are always commin up with choreo to keep things fresh, if they dont, then they just lazy.

bleechme13 ofcource boty is a big big event and it really means alot winning it but sadly alot of the big korea crews have misconception of it. They think its rigged against them winning (well everyone thinks boty is rigged even though it isnt). So they kinda boycott it or dont go after they win or loose in the finals in germany. Thats why you wont see Drifterz, Gamblerz, Last For one, Extreme or T.I.P back this year, however younger crews will go because they want to get noticed and even just competing at boty will help them alot.
