Sounds like you're describing a dolphin (or the dolphin might go the opposite way can't remember ), it's a housing move that found it's way into b-boying.

not sure what to call it. I know exactly what you are talking about though. Salah and a lot of poppers do that move from the floor. Where you look like your doing pushups or the worm, and your body rises upward to where you are standing. Its a tight move.. but dont know the name.
