I am 13 , and the only bboy around. I do one swipe and everybody goes crazy, pretty funny right?

I remember when i first started bboying, I could flare, airflair, jackhammer, one handed elbow flare, windmill, do 23 head spin taps, halo, airtracks, and double backflips. Now, i finally learned my coffegrinders and how to worm. They took me forever to learn, almost 8 months!

"Who ever had the nerve to say "teach me", was considered a sucker, a lil' bitch-ass punk. So you never asked no one to teach you, you never clapped when a nigga did a good move, you just stood there and acted hard, like it didn't phase you. It was all about attitude, everyone else did the clapping, not the B-Boys."

i looked at that one like 100 times and you do it to fast a little hard to see what your doing. Think you can post one of just a knee drop doing it slowly

Peace

okay, screw vids.

A kneedrop: dropping onto your right knee (for reverse, switch left and right)

1. Put your left foot behind your right knee. I mean KICK it into the back of your right knee, so that your right leg bends

2. fall FORWARD! Do NOT fall to the side, this is that unfortunate "knee-snapping" effect that could happen if you fall more to the side with too much weight on it and not forward. Your knee is built to bend your leg front and back, NOT SIDE TO SIDE, to make your movements accordingly.

3. Land on the toes of your left foot. Although it is called a knee drop, you would most likely not want to drop right on your knee. That friggin hurts. your left toes are behind your right knee, so if you land on your toes, it 1) makes your knee drop look smoother, 2) doesn't hurt like hell and 3) looks like you actually dropped on your knee.

Again, practice makes perfect, but this is one of the easiest drops to do.

if you have two pulled stomach muscles and no bicep, dont practice flares. You wont be able to hold yourself up. I've been breakin for 2 years now and still cant get flares. Dont try yet, let your muscles recover. Take a break and work on handstand moves such as 90'z, hand hops, pikes and dropping from a handstand to your elbows. If your strong you can pop back up.

ok i dont get the knee drop
when i drop fast, i squash my calf and thigh muscle with my left ankle
and how do you drop FORWARD and get ur left toes to catch yourself? my foot is not that big. doesn't that mean you gotta drop sorta sideways?

after i drop its comfortable for me to spin out of it to end standing up. does this mean im doing it right?

also if i drop to fast, i got forward like onto my face.
are you supposed to lean back when ur doing this move?

have you seen the music vid Protest by Skinny Puppy? the guy on there drops right on his knee.
