ok this my first guide and i wanted to try a new drop becuase i only know four (corkscrew,knee,sweep, coin and suicides(? is this a drop?) well i learned how to thread and in the beginning i couldnt land on my foot i just dropped. well whatever ok this is how it goes:
stuff to no: how to toprock and how to thread.
If you know to thread skip the first 2 steps.
Practice this on your mattress or grass(something soft)

1) Ok depending if your right footed or left it depends which toe you grab.To find out what you are(if you dont know) stand up and start to fall forward like a front suicide but catch your self on eitehr one of your legs (whichevr feels more comfortable) The foot you land on is your stronger one.

2)Grab the toe of your weaker foot with the opposite hand(if you are left footed grab your right foot with your left arm vice versa for right.). You should be standing up striaght on one leg.

3)Bounce up a few times on your stronger foot(you should still be holding yor toe and standing straight up)to get momentum.(as you get better you wont need to do this)Then jump up and through the sorta circle thing made with your hand and foot.

4)Dont get scared the matress will catch you if you do it wrong(unlikley, its pretty easy) after your leg is through quickly put it on the ground and bend it (while you are still holding your toe)you should land on your legs or butt sorta crouched on the ground.This should not hurt at all or else you are doing it wrong.

5)Kick out and go into your footwork.

This is also a good move to do when you thread about 3 times and then drop.

threads is the general name for that aspect
leg hop is the specific name for the move you're describing, but to me, names dont matter, you do it, you do it, doesnt matter if you got the name of it right or not, unless your gettin urself into shit sayin you can airflare when what you're doin is a swipe, stuff like that

Look in begginner help under thread:move list wonderin if im good-decent Lower down it shows you telling me that it is called threading
