Coffin Suicide Help - 08-09-2004, 01:52 PM

Whenever I do coffins (flying backward totally flat and taking the suicide with your arms crossed the whole time) I either get the wind knocked out of me or my back hurts. Is there some way to avoid this?

you're not landing right. sounds like a tough suicide though, because you got less surface area when you dont use your arms or open your legs.

coffins are pointless unless your landing them out of an airtrack or something

Mang, I hate to tell you, but a front flip or back flip coffin suicide is gonna hurt like hell trying to learn and even perform. But the only way to pull it off with the least amout of pain is to try and and take most of the impact on your feet and your shoulders like you're going into rubberband kip ups. THIS IS A VERY HARD MOVE! I applaud you for trying, since the 50 times I tried my front flip coffin I could barely kip-up and get out of the circle, but with a lot of practice comes rewards.

i think i could try it doing a front flip but just jumping into it (ouch...)

Uh try landing on the other parts of your body instead of ur back like ur but first then with an arched back roll your body out keeping your head tucked into ur chest and go down slowly as possibe but make it look good.

that is the only way i could think of it front flip suicides are easy

get them right, they still hurt, i can do them , but they hurt
k firstly blank your mind, and forget about the pain,
to start:
1:get your self stressed
2:forget about the pain

doing the move:
1: your are not actually jumping think of it like slipping really quickly
2:arch your shoulders back
3:might sound funny but, push your dick or what ever you have there outwards.
4ush your legs out straight and fast
5:tense your whole body when your off the ground

the point of doing:
step1, casue when you slipp you still get air, and looks better
step 2,your sgoulders have muscles so they are strong, and make a nice cushion
step 3, cause if you land on your butt, you cause a wiplash effect a hit the ground hareder
step 4, the faster you do it the less time you have to back out of it
step 5, to recover

practices to get the move:
1: ly on the ground with your shoulders flat in line with the floor
2: push your butt slowly away from tthe floor
3: hold that positon for about 1minute
4: start from a low crouching position and do the move

what you should notice after doing practice move step:
1: you should feel your muscle, being squashed a little
2:your heels and shouldrs are the only thing touching the ground
3:your back becomes sore
4:builing up a resistance t the pain

the signs of improvement:
1:bruised shoulders
2:stronger gut muscles
3:sore legs

Hoe long before you actually get the move:
well it takes the body +- 3 weeks to heal so i will say according to my experience about 1 month

aftermath:
once you have conquered the move ,you would try and avoid it in battles, but a bijitz move in the short run, long run you'll soon forget about it , but it will stay with you

no point i being modest when everyone else knows you good

therefore
i break bboys
