heh, well i'm a n00b too. And let me tell you something, everyone says make your own style. Well they have to adapt to one 1st, learn the basics and from there fixes his/her own one up.
I like him am having troubles with this sort of thing.
In B-dancin' there is no try...only succeed or fail miserably either way you win or lose RESPECT. But it is always priceless to see the losers face after a comp.
One of my fav's is a left-heel slide. I use it for a couple of sets... here's the basic concept:
While doing your toprock, get into a position where your left foot kicks back, then kicks forward. One the "going forward part" drop your heel down on the ground - not completely, leave some air so you glide down smoothly. Here, you'll lower your right knee and begin to twist left. The end result should be somewhat of a left leg forward, right leg bent and back... allow you to swing your right foot over the left into a number of footwork, groundwork sets.
Engyn.
PS - Yeah it's a bit hard to explain, but I promise I'll get some clips up soon.
The important thing is... is that at anytime we can sacrifice what we are now for what we can become.
Wow knee drops u guys? Those are easy and if done rite will look good buh its funner doin sumthin esle then that. My favs a standing coffee grinder. Swing ur rite leg across ur left and drop down wid no hands wid a little hop. Looks nice...
