Alright wats good everybody I been on this site for a while but never peeped the DJ board cause every time I did it was pretty depressing, but I been spinning for a while now and we need to get this joint poppn so heres alittle something for you aspiring turntablists that I wrote up a lil while ago...Some decent scratch records for you to start with
Super Duck Breaks-One of the most well known and well used scratch records out there. Contains some of the most well known samples including "Its Fresh" and so fourth... Super Duper Duck Breaks - More of the same from the original Duck Breaks, Another extremly solid scratch record... Battle Breaks(Dirt Style Records)- From one of the most well known break beats producers, Dirt Style Records, another very very solid buy, featues many old sckool, bboy type beats, vocal samples mixed throughout... Peanut Butter Breaks- Not as popular as the Duck seris, however another very good record, tons of instrumentals and jazzy break beats... Monkey Breaks- If you are looking for a break record that has some amazing beats, stuff that will have your dead grandmother dancing in her grave this might be your ticket, Bully Breaks- Breaks from the World Champion DJ Craze, features a lot of the material that enabled him to win all those years, Lots of good beats, End section features repeating snares, bass... Hater Breaks- Features alot of good scratch material, beats are extremly similar to those used by the likes of Q-Bert, B side contains tons of disses to todays Dj world, and just about anybody... KickBall Breaks - One of the best of all time in my opinion, tons of disses, great beats, and great oportunity to tear someone up in a battle with the entire record, a great record... Beats for Jugglers(1,2,3)- A great seris of beats many of which, as the their title suggests made for Juggling, disses are sprinkled throughout... STD Breaks- More breaks goodness from the Dirt Syles people, features an array of various beats, not many disses or scratch sentences...[watch out for the album cover ] Bitch Slapped Breaks- D Styles once again, has some good scratch sentences on it, throws in some sick electro beats, real good buy... Black Market Snuff Breaks- You guessed it Dirt Syles, this is one of thier most popular, electro beats, loads of good sentences a great LP... GagBall Breaks- I dont even have to tell you who its from you already know (follow the pattern) Featuring more D Styles trademark electro and hard hitting sentences... HeeHaw Breaks- One side features all the pounding beats you need, while the other hits you with i quote from TTLab, "150" different sounds" its got just about everything you need, if you want sound effects and words this is your vinyl... Doo Doo Breaks- Of you want to experiment with a variety of different sounds and break style beats, you've got everything from techno to funk here, a different type of record but good in its own way... Video Game Breaks(1,2)- Ahh one of the most famous and popular, it features all of your favorite ancient, 18 bit video game sounds, along with the forever popular Super Mario Bros Break, and other "remixed" video game tracks... Grey Breaks- One of the most classis but least known records out there, beats asking to be scratched, features remakes of old intrumentals, such as ATCQ and more... MediaPile Scratch Library- The same idea as the Heehaw Breaks vinyl, except no beats, 380+ samples of everything from your vacum cleaner to who knows what... Scratch Studio 7- From Megaman, he also has quite a few other vinyls out there, feautres tons of sounds, some funky beats, a nice flow throughout great record... Toasted Marshmellow Foot Breaks- I leave you with one of the most popular of our time, Q Bert and D Styles, features everything that makes Dirt Syles the power in breaks it is, from sentences to beats to all the goodies great buy... Alright its been fun theres a list of 20 quality scratch records that can get you started ot send you to DMC...peace and enjoy... FAT |

There's a record called Shaolin breaks or something like that. I saw it at Fat Beats a couple of days ago. They had one with a red cover and one with a black-white cover. Idk if there's a difference, they were both the same price (like $12) and they had the same code written on them. I was about to buy one but then I realized I didn't want it.

"100 mph Backsliding Turkey Cuts" (Dirt Style) has a big section of classic scratch noises and a few sentences and drums. Plus some basic beats to cut to.
I've used it forever |

Don't Forget Qbert's Super seal. I have 5 copies burnt out from being over used, and I had to buy another one. I've met Dj's who goes thru copies of Super seal.
