DJ Equipment Buying Guide and Links - Page 4

I am really interested an Djing. I've never done it before and would like to learn. I don't have much money, but I am completely willing to save up for as long as it takes to get something of great quality.
I read everything recommended. But I was wondering what Kid Koala uses, if I want to use effects like that is there specific things I should buy or is it just a skill that can be done on any tables.

Hey guys, just looking to make a jump into the DJ world. Read through the forums here looking at suggested gear. I wanted some opinions regarding equipment.

I'm looking to spend around $800-$1500 canadian...preferably on the lower side, but always been a true believer in the old adage "you get what you pay for".

Looking for something fairly simple to buy in as few packages as possible.

What are everyone's suggestions on these products.

Numark NS7 Controller w/ Serato ITCH

or

SL 1200MK5 with a Vestax PMC-05PROIIIDX or PMC-05PRO3 VCA Mixer

or

Pioneer CDJ-800MK2 CD Turntable with the PMC-05PRO3VCA Mixer

anyone have any suggestions to what is the best ideal set-up and any other purchases I will have to make to make the set-ups complete?
