what's up guys

where does everybody get their music? some stuff I get from itunes, but I use this site called zipdj most of all. it's an MP3 record pool

I'm looking for mashups and edits and stuff

i usually get mine
either from youtube and a youtube downloader
or i just google song name and mp3 download on google

I never thought about youtube! but wouldn't it be really bad quality

Well some stuff you can find on http://www.skreemr.com/ if your just looking around. Esone has a couple of free song here & there I think on his website.

You could also check out places like Sound Click, though there are only so many songs on their that are free because the majority of people are dicks and want you to pay. In addition you have to register for an account, and even though I don't think that is such a big deal, some people dislike the idea.

bboycreepingdeath on youtube, and pxndxmic on bboy.org (don't remember). He has a lot of stuff he has collected.

And as for youtube quality, it all depends on the video you get it from. Its not like you're going to pick off the first vid that has a cool beat but is a recording of a battle.

Another person is Sutley on bboy.org. He libraries a lot of songs (mixes), as far as I'm aware.

Now if its stuff to mix your self, take what you can get & just mix it up. Whether you do CPU DJ'ing or Live DJ'ing everything is always at your finger tips. Vinyl record shops, or sites that have free downloads. But you probably already knew that.
