01. Bob N’ I (P/ RZA) ... up to date bobby digital type track, not a bad way to start the album, but i was hoping for about 2 minutes of classic wu intros with movie samples n shit, like they always used to do... 6/10
02. The Grunge (P/ RZA) you might have heard this before, it was named 'breaks' on the j love mixtape, then it was released as 'radio', now it's called grunge...nonetheless it's a banger 4 sure, the beat is hot a cross between digi n rza ... 8 1/2 outta 10.
03. We Pop - F/ Ol' Dirty Bastard, Division & Madam Scheez (P/ Megahertz) the beat is HOT, it gets me real hyped up this is the type of shit to bumb while your speeding down highways in your city....but unfortunatly Division ruins the song wit some wack ass lyrics 7/10
04. Grits - F/ Masta Killa (P/ RZA) beautiful track, sorta expermental but a banger none the less. if this is an indication of whats in store for tha masta killa album, whoa! crazy old time remember back in the day type shit .... 8.5/10
05. Fast Cars - F/ Ghostface Killah (P/ True Master) ... classic true master beat from deadly venoms "put ya middle finger up" definate wu banger, it might sould a lil weird at first but it will grow on you no doubt... 9/10
06. Chi Kung - F/ Beretta 9 & Cilvaringz (P/ Barracuda) .... best track so far, classic wu banger reminicent of a digi in stereo era track meets ironman 96 style with a touch of some ol new 04 wu shyt, rza is benefiting from these new breed of wu producers ...but rza's flow on this is really slow and he sounds almost like he's tired on it...it's still dope but i'm just pointing it out 10/10
07. You'll Never Know - F/ Cilvaringz (P/ RZA) dopeness from start to finish...originally it had sampled a beetles song(i forget which one), but they couldn't clear the sample so Rza had to re-sing the hook and change the guiter in the background...i like the original better, but this beat is STILL dope 9/10
08. Drink, Smoke And Fuck (P/ RZA) exactly what it sounds like...it's a good party track but it suffers from a simple hook and pretty basic lyrics ... 6 1/2 outta 10.
09. The Whistle - F/ Prodical & Masta Killa (P/ RZA) ... WOW what a fuckin masterpiece of a beat. every emcee on this absolutely murders the track....this shit had me wearing out my back button cause i kept on listenin to this over and over...a definite wu banga 10/10
10. Drop Off - F/ Division (P/ RZA) ... rza rips it, division actually flows nicely as well. the hook fucks the track up and the beat is sorta like what u hear on tha radio these days but does have a classic wu type drum sound, not bad but there's room for improvement... 6/10
11. Wherever I Go - F/ Division (P/ RZA) ... this sounds like an 808 drum beat but very unlike what u hear on tha radio. very dope vocal sample and excellent instrumentation and piano....i like rza's flow in this song, you can really hear the change from the first two digi albums 9 1/2 outta 10.
12. Hoto Chotan - F/ Masta Killa & Madam Scheez (P/ RZA) ... this is by far the dopest beat on the album, this will remind you of classic wu loops and classic rza beat switches...lyrics are nice both Rza and Masta come correct on this shit...madam scheez is aiight on this track, but definitly get outshined by the wu generals on this 10/10
13. A Day To God Is 1000 Years (Stay With Me) (P/ Bronze Nazareth) Aiight this is where Bob Digi switches up to Prince Rakeem....you'll be able to tell cause the lyric content switches nicely...Bronze really out did himslef on this production and earns a well deserved spot on this album as well as solidifing himslef as a top notch wu element who may soon rise to be the very best wu element if he keeps this ill shit up... perfect blend of guitar and flute.... 10/10
14. Cherry Range - F/ Beretta 9 (P/ RZA) This track is one of those that you'll either love or hate...personally i love it, i'd give it a 7/10
15. The Birth (P/ Bronze Nazareth) ... okay back to some elevated wu banger music this is for the fans of rza trax like 12 jewels, sunshower and the like there of. bronze comes incredibly correct yet again...also rza tells u right here not to refer to him as bobby no more. we waited and now we are rewarded. at this rate, wu and fam would look good as fuck gettin bronze to produce half their albums... if this is what the future of the up and coming wu is all about, we arent gonna complain much anymore thats for sure... i am having hard time imagining what the cure with the RZA will actually be like if this is only prince rakeem right now. will people still doubt RZA's lyrical skill and knowledge after hearing this? probably not ... 10/10
16. See The Joy (P/ Rza) ... DAmN !!! this just starts off sick as fuck, a piano then a piercing vocal sample bronze style. some metaphorical shyt right here ... yes, another 10/10.
as you can see i'm mad pleased by this shit....we've all been waiting so long for Rza to drop some heavy, raw wu soundin shit and he finally has...if your dissapointed by this then what more do you want!?!
overall i'd give the album 8.5/10, 4 and a half mics, xl, 4 discs whatever the fuck you wanna call it....al you need to know is that this album is strait FIRE, the Wu is back,
peace
