As for me right now Im listenin to this real weird kinda mellow ish but at the sametime not really. Its this band called the String Cheese Incidents. Its kinda like a funky blue grass. The did Marvin Gayes song "Sexual Healing", dope stuff. And there's another band called Grandaddy thats got some cool stuff. Its just stuff u can just sit there and chill to, nah meen. And also some Bob Marley, everyone should listen to some bob sometime. Its healthy for you.

Old reggae(shabba ranks, buju banton, mad lion, lil vicious, patra)
& some
Really mixed up old sh*t for ex (the doors, the beatles, james brown, patsy cline and many many more)
Spanish music- merengue and spanish vocalists like Selena(r.i.p.)

Thats cool, I went on a cruise this summer and we stopped in Jamaica so I was excited to get to hear some of there music. And it was amazing, those people are so happy. And me and my girlfriends favorite song is from Mariah, im not sure of the name, but it was like she wrote the song directly for us. It just perfectly went a long with the situation were in. But I usually try to stay away listening to it too much now cos it makes me sad.

I know what you mean Harry. I'm pretty happy right now with my boyfriend, but Mariahs old songs can bring back some bittersweet memories.

So the only thing people listen to is rap around here or what?

I guess so, i try to stray pretty open minded about music, except for country. I will never touch that stuff.

FUNK! I love listening to old funk.

I also am getting re-aquainted with jazz and fusion right now.

But really, I love Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, and the Beatles. What was with England in the 60s that they had to produce some of the dopest bands in the history of rock? I mean, the Who too, they are really on point.

But I'm kinda with you guys, certain songs trigger certain memories. Some good, some bad. But I try to buy the CDs with them, just so I can hear them from time to time.

but my favs are hip hop, funk and jazz.

music that just gets me going, that isnt hip hop.

Sade- anything by this lady just gets me man. awesome love making music!

Silver Apples- old funk band from the 60's. good stuff

The Police- Sting is the shit! great songwriter.
