Advice.. please help me!

i really REALLY wanna learn how to DJ, and like im prob gonna save up and ish so like till christmas, quite far but w/e (thats wen ill have the money) yer i will be a newb and ish, so i dont need some of the best equipment.. but wen i but turntables, like i might sound like a complete retard, but do i need 1 or 2, i have worked out that but christams i will have enough money for 2 of the (look at the attachment) well would that be a good for a beginer, and what over ish would i need?

yo. i got the numark's DJ in a box kit and they aight. i was tryin to get the gemini's but im aight with what i got. dont foreget that if you just buy 2 seperate tables, you also have to get the cords, headphones, needles, speakers and so on. so i think it would be best if you got some kind of equipment that comes with all of that. and check the links we got in the 'dj links' thread. there is equipment there also. peace and hairgrease.

my bro seems to be able to use his stantons really well and they were pretty cheap for the whole set... was about 540ish for everything from headsets, mixer to tables themselves.

speakers too? i still dont have speakers, but my headphones can blaze like them. and does 'vestax' got any good sets for cheap? cause i wanted some vestax turntables so that i can can scratch like the x-ecutioners.

i wish i could scratch like them.

and alpha....didnt you have a friend that DJ's and got that room full of equipment? if you can get him....can you get him to post some of his scratches and junk. thx. peace and hairgrease.

I think you should get a Stanton DJ kit. But if you can afford the Numarks, go for it.

BE PATIENT. Don't rush to get anything. I'm gonna write an equipment buying guide and I'll post it up as soon as possible.

And puertolumbian....i think you're thinking of Manilagorilla. He used to post on here but I don't know what happened to him. I don't know his contact info or anything, I only talked to him on here. He's probably the most qualified to the mod on this board...too bad he doesn't post much. I think he's been in the game for something like 9 years.
