do you go to the events? if you dont, you really should even if you're not competing. the only tip i can really give you is practice. when you can, enter battles...get that experience. chances are you're going to lose most of them, but keep working, keep practicing and see where you went wrong in those battles. also, its not just about the competition, theres cyphers and all that too.

the only place i can think of near moody is the rec center near coquitlam center

and i think all those guys practice at UBC now so i dunno
