To tell you the truth, the Breakdance Step-by-Step DVD is not worth buying at all.
You're better off learning moves off some of the guides on this website than on the DVD honestly. Want to learn fast? Practice, be dedicated, and get with some local bboys thatll help you out guy. The only good thing about the DVD are SOME of the battles featured on it. Im not trying to put anyone associated with the DVD down but i think it sucks butt =D just my opinion i honestly didnt see what many ppl who reviewed this dvd saw... ![]() |

its about how much you practice...not how talented you are..
most important aspect of a bboy? determination.. time > knowledge > skills |

I agree with spikyaznboy. The dvd wasn't completely useless, but I admit that I ended up watching the battles more than the actual instructional clips. After that I lent it to a friend and never really asked for it back.
The different angles are somewhat helpful if you are a visual learner, but they sometimes don't go into as much detail as the guides on this site and videos on youtube. I'm not stopping you from buying it, but you might end up looking for other sources if you are stuck on something |

Breakdance Vol 1-4 is really really good but then again finding other bboys and learning free from them is the other route

Find some friends and get them into it. Usually the GREAT bboy learn independently.
Get a camera and watch yourself bboy. Then afterword correct your mistakes. |

the dvd does not really provide any more benefit than youtube or anything. however, if you actually want to learn to dance, FIND OTHERS TO PRACTICE WITH.

I gotta disrupt the negativity here and say Yes. Its helpful. Nothing on there is going to make you worse. Everything on there is going to do nothing but make you better. ^ are right saying that finding bboys who will train you is the best. But not everyone can do that. And even if you can, what's wrong with some instruction at home for when you're practicing. Move the couch outta the way, turn it on, and practice. Let the dvd just be background. It works.

I hate practicing alone, best way i find is in a cypher, or else i just feel so tired and bored and even more in a battle when you get that adrenaline pumping.
