the thing with glides, is there is ONE main principal. Toe-flat, Toe-flat. One foot is on its toes, AND DOESNT MOVE. Thsi foot takes about 90% percent of your weight. The other foot is now basically weightless and free of friction effects as result. Just do some basic stuff and soon enough, you'll crack it. took me about 4 weeks of solid practice to gte a grip on the glides
