The DVD -
02-07-2009, 10:37 PM
I wrote a mostly negative review of the DVD a while ago. After watching it again, I'd recommend it for new bboys. It's a pretty good introduction to the basic moves. I'd like some differant camera angles (like shots from the back), but it's alright. I wouldn't recommend it if you have been breaking for a while and want to learn the powermoves. I thought the powermove discriptions were very hard to follow, and all I basically got out of them was seeing what the moves looked like. However, if you have been breaking for a while, and are serious about it, there are some bonus interviews that would be worth the cost of the DVD for many people. Good stuff to expand your knowledge. Also some battle footage that adds to the value, and would show new kids how stuff goes down.
