I know i'm a noob and all (dancing for like 2 weeks) but Bboy blessed is right. I work 5 days a weeks so i'd just dance over the weekend and i'd keep pulling muscles and get tired quick, but once i started dancin Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun, my body got used to it and i don't tear my muscles anymore!! =)
I got the same situation as StreetMonk, no one bboys where i live. Is it beneficial to have a friend over to watch you practice even if he's not a bboy? ... They can still tell you what looks fresh and what looks whack right? |

I think if that person is exposed to the scene and watches bboying videos or footage pretty frequently, then yea; it helps even if he's not a bboy. My love comes with me to almost all of the events and even to practices because she wants to learn and she has developed a good eye for technique and form and what may or may not flow. Now I just have to get to her to learning the stuff before she tries to flow it. lol

just practice before going to bed?
instead of being lazy watching tv, move the couch to the side and work on some footwork! |
