What kind of elbow pads do bboys use? -

ive been breakdancing for a while now, and i want to buy those elbow pads i see in bboy vids
but i dont know what kind to buy so can someone post a pic of it on this thread or the name of the elbow pads most bboys use? |

I got pads at Big 5. Mine are actually small knee pads; just buy em (like $7 for a pair) and put duct tape on it to prevent sliding.

the step by step version of making effective bboying elbow pads.
Step 1: Take two phonebooks, in the centers of each cut two 45 degree angles to form a wedge be sure to get deep enough so all the crappy yellow pages are tossed but there are still some residential pages left (just in case you wanna call up your hommies to battle) Step 2: Jack duct tape from any store Step 3: Duct tape wedges of phone book together so that it forms a 90 degree angle Step 4: Duct tape the wedges to your arm Step 5: Enjoy being the most original gangster ass hobo on the dance floor hahaha my badd im so fuckin lazy right now hahaha but yea big 5 works |

i never really used elbow pads, but i bought some a couple weeks ago in taiwan; still havent used em yet, theyre bad quality but less than $3 usd......
but in the same store, they had more expensive ones; nike ones were about $16 i think, but they looked pretty good... find a sports mart or a nike outlet in your area, they'll definitely sell them.... also, you should actually try asking employees if you dont... |

Big 5 sporting goods store. They're all over the place here on the west coast, but I don't think they are a nationwide chain.
I also bought all my pads on sale at Big 5 for $3, honestly any pads will work if they cover the area you need covered. The trick is figuring out what/if you need pads. I would suggest posting what you want the pads for and then people can give you a better idea of what you may want. |
