Heya, I'm pretty much a newb trying to get into it.

I've been trying a turtle freeze but its kinda weird. I can keep myself in the air but my legs are sorta bent downwards. As I bring my legs up to the proper position i have to take my right hand and slap it on the ground in front of my face of I'll fall straight on my face. In this because my elbow position is bad? For some reason I don't need a lot of strength to keep a long crappy turtle position mentioned above if I stab my elbow into my upper ribs... dunno how to explain it. Should I be stabbing my elbow more near my navel or waist?

I know I really shouldn't be trying the windmills but when I was trying to learn at school, I found out that I can't seem to use my left arm as the stabbing hand, instead I have to use my right arm although I write with my right hand. Is this normal? Ahhh.... can't do the windmills anyway.

u can learn windmill but jus dont expect it to come naturally. it will take a while

just practice turtle freezes for a while and it won't be hard anymore. and yes, everyone has a certain stabbing arm and some people are good with both because of practice.

im right handed but most of my stabs for freezes, mills, etc. are with my left hand. im right handed but i rotate CCW
