hand strength/proper hand position - 05-02-2005, 10:25 AM

so i've been having a little trouble with my hands when i go down to do floorwork. i started with my palms flat on the floor, but i've been told its the wrong position. should i only being practicing with the proper "arched" hand position? its tough because i can only support myself so long and so my six step and other moves only progress so much. i've only been bboying for a little while and i want to start doing things proper from the start.

dont worry about ur hands. in my opinion it all depends on how comfortable u r when u do ur freeze or pose b/c if ur pose is sick as hell no one is gonna care what position ur hand are in. as long as u can stick the move and not hurt urself i think that's all that matters namean?

when you go down to footwork i use my fingers, i think itll drag at times when you get fast footwork, it should just come to you though if your hittin the basic 6 step then your fine, but try stayin on fingers.
