Canīt gain speed on my turtlez - 10-12-2003, 04:43 PM

I got the turtle position down, i can do turtlez but I gain no speed. I donīt know if it has to do with my hand coordination, or staying or letting too much or too little twist and support on just one hand, or maybe I raise my legs too high. I don{t have a video just now but i have seen a video of myself and it looks cool, but way too slow and kinda clumsy. Plz help me out. Iīm fairly new.

aight look theres several ways u can gain mommentum.
1) put ur arms straight and on the ground and run around them and then drop down into a turtle.

2) use the same beginning movement when u do a windmill but instead of puttin your shoulder down just do a turtle. instead of only shifting wieght when u spin put a little hop inbetween the elbow stabbs but u dont want to hop 2 too much cuz then itll turn into a jackhammer

3) this is the way to look the best, do any combo like flare, mills, to headspin any of them. but try to make the wiindmill the last part of your combo and then start a turtle you will haul ass. this looks tight as hell but since u move so fast it gets confusing so try to keep focused and remember step by step wat u gotta do.

when you do the elbow stab to do a windmill imidietly put ur right elbow in once u get that 1st spin down u got it
good luck man hit me back if u got any other problems
