At the top of every forum sub-section there are posts called "stickies" - these stickies are posts that will remain at the top of the page until they are "un-stickied". They are there for a reason, this guide merely helps compile stickies and this forum, into and easy to navigate source for your bboying needs!

Heres some quick links that will start you off on your passion of bboying - never give up. As quoted from earlier bboys:
"Success doesnt come before work unless your looking in a dictionary!"

Footwork General Forums
(This is the area to find all "footwork" related moves.. (ex. 6-step, 12-step etc)

Drops General Forums
(This is the area to find all "Drop" related moves (ex. Knee Drop, Coin Drop, etc)

Top Rocks General Forum

Once you've browsed the general moves forum located
Here (Also at the top of every page)
You will understand then how to browse bboy.org forums and get better response from your help requests etc.

Keep in mind that alot of the users on here check in once out of every three days, so if you want an almost immediate solution to your problem use the search feature located at the top of every page.

Terminology / Definitions by AzNbReAkA

Some terms to get you started are as follows:
Footwork, 6 step (any # step up to 12), coffee grinder, cc's, Adding Steps, Drops, Coin Drop, Knee Drop (AKA cult 45), Top Rock, Side to Side, Indian Step, Freezes, spins, floats, headglide, kip ups, broncos, kicks, L Kick, Nike, worm, centipede.

*Takes breath*

Practice the fundamentals first (getting the form right, making sure your hitting all the steps, etc and so forth) until your comfortable with that move, then move on to the next Browse around and see what you like and see what is feasible for where your at now and where you could be.

Keep in mind, some moves will make it easier to do others
Example:
Knowing the handglide position and coin drops, and also a few styles of swipes (or being able to play soccer / kicking your boyfriend in the nuts) will help with mastering:
- Windmills
- Dark Hammers / Jack Hammers
- and many more, so practice the small stuff and then move on when its easy for you (or "boring" as most noobs call it)

Hope this helps and/or gets stickied as this is my first guide!
