increasing my arsenal - 02-07-2009, 12:40 PM

im trying to learn new moves, but im not sure what i should try:

i have good footwork, i know most basic freezes, i know swipes, handstands, i can do somewhat good headspins, but what else would be good?

i was thinking about airchairs, but im not flexible enough.how can i get more flexible.

im working on inverts, but my shoulders hurt when i try, how can i strengthen my shouders?

i want to windmill, but i dont know how; can someone give a link to a good guide.

does anyone have a link to a good toprock vid, im trying to get better at toprocking.

what other moves are nice to know?

for airchairs: work on being able to sit in a chair freeze (pun intended xD) so that it does not hurt at all and you can get into to it quickly

for inverts: that means your shoulders arent flexible enough, start doing the invert stretches, there are videos all over for them

windmills: theres a whole forum, which is good because you can choose your whole guide yourself, and switch if you decide that guide isn't working for you
its in the moves section of the forum

yellows toprock videos are my personal favorite, but theres tons in the toprock forum

WINDMILLS:

AS FOR AIR CHAIRS, go back to your basic chair freeze and work on
doing it until you're COMFORTABLE with it so it doesn't hurt.
Then try doing it with one leg off the ground until you're comfortable with that too,
that's the tricky part, lol. Then this guide could help!!

INVERTS:

You really just have to stretch and practice doing it
against a wall until you're able to do otherwise, here:

There're good toprocking vids ALLLLL OVER youtube
and even on here, you just have to type in the words
"toprocking guide"/"toprocking"/(etc.)

1990s and 2000s are pretty tight!
And munchmills! dude there're a lot lol.

GL and I hope that helped!

anytime!
GL!
with those vids I got them down pretty fast,
within 2 weeks.
And I know it depends on the breaker themselves that's learning,
but those guys are really good teachers.
