BOTY USA has been cancelled for the second time this year. Reason? "No crews signed up" - Poe One

I thought the BOTY boycott shit has to do with the finals in Germany, that's what I was reading on bboyworld. Something about it not being fair, the winners being picked before the event, exploitation, ect. I posted some links in a different thread on this forum to the boycott threads on bboyworld yo...

Owner of bboyworld came on threads and told everyone that BBoyworld supports anything run by PoeOne, he said if you don't like the finals in germany then don't go to that or deal with that, from what I saw the really pissed off people were all frenchies anyway, something about frenchies losing to koreans.

Haha, I'm not sure sleazy would be the correct word in this situation.

Several bboys and crews who participated in the BOTY Final last year complained about contract issues and corrupt judging. However, the individual BOTYs are not necessarily affiliated with the BOTY Finals. I'm sure POE1 has his reasons, whether it be problems with the BOTY company itself, lack of interest due to last year's controversy, or simply problems with venue or something simple like that. I hope we'll find out sometime soon.
