wtf is goin on on this thread?
lolz i bought both albums. I think Kanye is overrated, but much more better to listen to in comparision to 50Cent. However, I must say that 50Cent has a better good CD, even if it is just nonsense and "Gangsta" crap. I don't know honestly. I am tired of Kanye West, sampling & bitching over BS [[hint the VMAs performance]] & I was never really into 50Cent. as far as y i listen to mainstream, a closed ear is a closed mind. how can i sit on here and say that no one's making real music true to hip-hop anymore, if i don't listen to what's played? how can i seperate myself from my peers who believe this is the greatest stuff ever? i can't base an arguement against something i dont know about. besides there are SOME, FEW, but some mainstream artists trying to bring it back to the loop, and every now and then you catch on to a "aight" song. so thats how i look at it. as far as this whole 50 v Kanye stuff. personally i think its just...heated BS. 50 needs to just...stop....make records without beef if he is the best. on contrary, Kanye needs to stop saying "hes better,etc.." and "its because im a black man with talent making money" for his defense on everything. "because im black" is getting a little old. |

I like Kanye better. The question is, why does it matter? People get caught up in this hype and forget about all the other people. That's like me winning 1st place and everyone worrying about whether or not the 3rd place guy was better than the 2nd place guy. |

Honestly if anyknow knows much about the music business
Kanye may outsell fifty in the first week sales and maybe two weeks sales but if were looking at a months span of time or longer 50 will come out on top, 50 cent is just so much more internationally known... he may be a shitty rapper... but remember.. there are 6 billion + people in this world.... and more than 50% of them don't know quality music...=p but besides this competing shit... what happend to making music... to JUST make music...? |

50 lost. Not literally, cus he's winning on 'online sales' so far, atleast. As much as I like 50 more than Kanye, I must admit... the Curtis album fuckin sucks.  The only good song is "I get Money." -"Man Down" is censored on the EXPLICIT version... wtf? -Lloyd Banks ain't even on the album. Im still hoping 50 wins, but as far as Curtis vs. Graduation... ...Curtis lost. |

i agree about the stuff you said ABOUT 50 but guess what. i just came from the store and there was ten kanye cds ( if i had the cheese i would have bought it) and all of 50's albums where on the shelf untouched and that means 50's out of a job.
