Ah... it was scheduled for August 19th in Los Angeles and the BOTY International website. It then disappeared from the website 2 weeks before it was taking place. I e-mailed them and the BOTY USA 2006 venue, and I got no replies... so I assumed they cancelled it. Turns out I'm wrong because Poe One posted a myspace bulliten a few hours back about the event.

Man because of this I went to bboyworld signed up and read just out of curiousity.
but no one is boycotting BOTY USA, I guess they're pissed about the finals in Germany. Read here... (you gotta register)
There's probably more threads that explain it better than what I read, but I'm already over it cuz I'm going to BOTY USA no matter how pissed the Frenchies are or who boycotts the event in Germany or here in the US.
I think the point they are mainly pissed off about is that the endresults are fixed before boty starts...but as far as I read there are a lot of people who say they have good sources but nobody wants to say who they are...and the owner of bboyworld is supposed to give an inside story....but that aint there yet either so...all just storys for now
