HOT! LUPE FIASCO- LOSES LOVE FOR HIP-HOP N TALKS ABOUT QUITTING THE GAME!!
Looks like Lupe won’t get Cool until November. According to BillBoard.com, the Chicago rapper’s sophomore LP has been pushed back from its original release date of October 30th to a newly announced November 20th release.
As if waiting an extra month for the rappers highly anticipated second album wasn’t enough, fans of the MC aren’t going to be happy with his future plans.
It seems like the industry has taken its toll on Lupe, who recently told Bill Board that he’s done with making mixtapes and might exit the Hip Hop game altogether.
“I’m just wearing down,” he admits. “I’m never doing mixtapes again, not even Internet ones. My whole energy for making hip-hop music is slowing down. I’ve been doing it for seven years. I still don’t think I’m famous.
I’ll do what I have to do to promote my next album, but I’m not enthused about doing seven albums. I’ll do my three, and then I am going to keep moving to the next phase of life and maybe grow trees.”

While he called West a talented producer, he also said the Chicago MC is a "worker bee" while he's a "boss." 50 emphasized the importance of album sales, saying that West selling more would mean that "he did a better job than me on his album."
"Look at how you're talking to me, like Kanye West is my equal right now," 50 said, launching into a rather imprecise comparison. "That's like me putting myself against Michael Jackson's [album-release] date and then acting like, 'Woah, it's a battle between 50 Cent and Michael Jackson!', when Thriller sold 30 million records and 50 Cent's biggest album sold 12 [million], you feel what I'm saying?
"Don't get lost in the hype," he continued. "I got the right records, so we're gonna sit here and I'll see you next time. Maybe next time they can send me off to the pastures. But right now, I'm gonna stick around and sell this record — and I will be #1 on September 11."

AMY WHINEHOUSE- GOES TO REHAB! lol.
(Aug. 14) -- They tried to make her go to rehab, and they finally succeeded.
Troubled British R&B soul singer Amy Winehouse and her husband have both checked into a drug rehabilitation center, U.K. paper The Mirror reports . According to the report, the pair checked into a U.S. facility after their respective fathers nearly got into a fistfight over the couple's cocaine and heroin addictions.
"It broke Amy's heart to see her parents and in-laws fighting," a Mirror source said, adding, "That was the point when she realized all the drink and drugs were causing huge problems for everybody."
Days before checking into rehab, Winehouse was rushed to the hospital for what was originally reported as "exhaustion," but rumors began swirling that it was actually an overdose that she was being treated for.
Winehouse, 23, reportedly took a cocktail of heroin, ecstasy, cocaine, the horse tranquilizer ketamine and booze on the day she was rushed to the hospital.
The singer and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, "had drug problems and had to have treatment together," the source said. The Mirror source also claims that while Winehouse and Fielder-Civil admitted they used cocaine and heroin, they denied injecting the latter.
"At one point, both Amy and Blake stripped ... to prove they had not been using needles," the source claims.

'CASSIDY VS. PAPOOSE' BATTLE -SWIZZ BEATS SHUT'S THE RUMOR DOWN.
Fight Klub fans awaiting the return of Cassidy to the ring for the rumored Papoose battle can rest easy—because it ain’t happening.
“That’s not going down,” Swizz Beatz told MTV.
“I’m not gonna let Cassidy get pressured into doing that. He’s at a point in his career where he feels comfortable and he’s focusing on taking it to the next level. Unless it’s something he’s doing that’s benefiting himself — getting a check? He’s getting checks. Battling a person who don’t have an album out, what is that? It has to be like something me and Kanye did onstage. Make it an event. Papoose is doing his thing, let him focus on his album, we don’t want to interfere with that.
“That battle thing is a sport, it don’t sell albums,” he continued. “Cassidy’s been doing that sport since he was 12 years old. He went from the sport to the business side of it, to making albums. But he’s on his freestyle thing. He’ll bite a head off if he has to. But it has to be an event.”
...so I guess Cassidy vs. 50 Cent ain't happening either.

NAS DROPPING 'GREATEST HITS' ALBUM.
New York rapper Nas is getting ready for the release of his last album via his former recording home, Columbia Records.
According to SOHH, the compilation will include twelve songs from the Queens rapper’s eight solo albums, as well as two new songs; one of which being “Less Than An Hour,” Nas’ collaboration with Gnarls Barkley’s Cee-Lo Green.
