JAY- Z IS THE SECOND 'BEST DRESSED MAN' ON THE PLANET!
Jay-Z has been named the second best dressed man in the world by Esquire Magazine in their fourth annual list ranking the best dressed men in the world.
NFL player Tom Brady comes in at #1 while Jay-Z is followed by actor Daniel Craig, presidential candidate Barack Obama and New York hotelier Andre Balazs.
"I am honored to be chosen," Brady said in an e-mail statement to USA TODAY. "But, as much as I enjoy dressing fashionably, this time of year I care a lot more about how I look on the field than off it."
In previous years, Pharrell Williams (2005) and Andre 3000 (2004) topped the list.

CASSIDY CALLS OUT 50 CENT!
During a recent appearance on Funkmaster Flex’s Hot 97 radio show Philly rapper Cassidy revealed that he is more than willing to jump back into the battling arena.
Cass, who made a name for himself earlier in his career by taking on Roc-A-Fella rapper Freeway, stressed that he will only participate in a Fight Klub battle if his opponent is a respected artist.
"It has to beneficial. If it’s one of the up-and-coming dudes that’s known for being mixatape stars, it’s not gonna benefit me if I eat ‘em up," Cassidy explained. "It’s just going to be expected anyway. Let say they put me up to battle Hov at a time like now, just the whole situation however it turns out it will beneficial for me because of the name he got.
"Let’s say they put me out to battle 50," he continued. "Imagine what that would be like? They already know, if we get it popping it would be so much around it that it will be beneficial no matter how it turned out."
"You have to be gold or better," added Swizz Beatz, who was also there with the rapper. "We taking on all challengers."

KANYE WEST REFUSES 'AN ALBUM DEBATE' AGAINST 50 CENT!
Today in New York, Kanye West revealed live to MTV that the debate was "the stupidest idea he has ever heard" and "it will not be happening."
In other words, he also confirmed he will be performing at the VMAs with Lil' Wayne, Common, and T-Pain.

(CBS) It looks like Kanye West will not accept the challenge to debate fellow rapper 50 Cent on the merits of their albums, both of which are set to be released on Sept. 11.
"I don't have beef with anyone," West said on MTV's TRL today, in response to a question by a reporter from the Associated Press. "What am I going to debate about? I'm going to go in the studio and make music. When I heard the thing about the debate, I thought that was the stupidest thing."
Appearing on BET's "106 & Park," 50 Cent told hosts Terrance J. and Rocsi he would take on West in a presidential-style debate live on the show in order to determine who has the best album. The debate would occur weeks before the release date, according to the Web site Hip Hop Elements.
"I accept the challenge," 50 Cent said. "Kanye, he's not going to want to show up. Just don't be asking me if I am a conscious rapper. I know exactly what I am saying — so I am conscious."
50 Cent claimed that Def Jam president Jay-Z would back down and change West's release date, but Jay-Z told Billboard that he welcomed the competition.
"It's great for retail, the record business, the buying public [and] the Internet so they can have their debates on who's going to win," he said. "I have to bet on the home team. It's going to be a good fight, too."

RZA TALKS '8 DIAGRAMS' ALBUM & RAEKWON'S SOLO PROJECT!
Rumors of an incomplete roster on their upcoming LP, “8 Diagrams,” started making their way around the media, legendary Wu Tang Clan front man, RZA, has verified the entire Clan’s participation on the forthcoming LP.
“Yeah, yo,” He tells MTV addressing the rumors. “Oh, this is a Wu-Tang Clan album. It ain’t like no solo album — everybody is poppin’ on this.”
“We got this one called ‘You Better Watch Your Muthafuckin’ Mouth,’ ” he said. “They probably gonna bleep out the ‘muthafuckin’.’ A lot of people talking whatever, whatever, whatever. You better watch your mouth.” He continued.
The RZA also spoke about Raekwon’s highly anticipated,“Built For Cuban Linx II.”
“That shit is fire,” he boasted of Rae’s project. “Some shit you gotta age in a barrel. Word, we rocked for a whole year on that. That shit started to come first, but it’s time for the Wu, ‘cause it’s not always about individuals.” He tells MTV.
“Son, no words,” he added about co-producing the project with Dr. Dre. “He’s a master. What can I say that we don’t know? It’s just pure energy.” ...
“8 Diagrams” is currently scheduled for an October 23 release.

STUDENT TAKING DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE, RUNS OVER INSTRUCTOR!
30-year-old Victoria Hosner was being given a driving lesson in Florida when she allegedly reversed and ran over her driving instructor's leg. Hosner was drunk at the time, with a blood alcohol level of .146.
Speaking to a daily newspaper, Hosner's husband said "It was totally an accident". Tanner was hospitalised and later discharged, and Hosner was charged with DUI, three counts of DUI with damage to property or person and for driving unlicenced.

'MARVEL' PROJECTS, FOR 2008!
Marvel Entertainment has released its slate of activity for 2008, and there are certainly some interesting projects in the hopper. In addition to IRON MAN and THE HULK, both of which will actually come out in 2008, there are projects like ANT-MAN, to be directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and THE AVENGERS, to be written by superscribe Zak Penn (Inspector Gadget, X2).
But the most interesting thing on the Marvel slate of projects, by far, is Spider-Man, The Musical to be directed on Broadway by Julie Taymor (The Lion King) and with music and lyrics by U2's Bono and The Edge.
