Every1 that auditions gets to be in the movie technically, because they show the clips of all the auditions at the end of the movie in the credits.

Soooo wack...yes they did choose a phoney poser girl for the lead over quite a few really good bgirls. Bgirl Kat (I think her name is Katastrophe) was up for the lead and she is dope. A lot of other bgirls auditioned. And this trailer that they posted is basically a way to fill up space at the end of the movie. They think it will bring more people to the theater if they have a chance at being in the credits....but basically what you are doing is giving them your footage and they are capitalizing off of it. YOU don't get paid for your footage and who knows they are probably biting moves for choreo. I agree...I hope the movie falls off the face of the earth before it releases. They have no clue how to make this girl look like a bgirl...it is hilarious!!! Google Step Up 2 Bgirl and go to the OMG Seriously WTF link it is soooooooooo funny!! They are talking about bboying and others that auditioned posted blogs....it is a trip! They even have some photos of the girl on one of the links where they tried to dress her like a bgirl and it is just too funny.....she looks so uncomfortable in the clothes and is definitley NOT a bgirl by any means. They talk about how in her auditions she tried to do a baby freeze and fell on her face!!

Err, yeah, that's why it's called the acting industry, incidentally. First rule of casting: Acting first, skills second. Skills can be trained in, stunts (or powermoves) can be easily doubled with simple camerawork. They didn't choose Johnny Depp in Pirates because he was a pirate or a master swordsman/fencer, or Charlize Theron for Aeon Flux because she knew Kung Fu. Or Mark Hamil beacuse he could use the force. :P
