Hmm... the top 4 was good i think, they were really the best bboys that night. I don't know, it looks like there is something wrong with the order. I think lilou beat roxrite, other people think 10 beat ronnie, but i can see reason for every battles i don't know... and i don't want to be a juge on that one. At least, top 4 is good, but it was tough.

Look at his backflip thing, my god, don't want to see that in a boy battle anymore : , and the best set ever : half of an indian step with no style, 90's and... walk back to his corner, yeah great men, great... dude jeds sets weren't exactly on fire... He didn't really rock the beat that much and just did some abstract type power with a bunch of crashes... It's pretty understandable how he lost to cico...

BCone was kick ass...

everyone was screaming for leelou tho! he did really well, except in his semi final battle he crashed quite a bit... and he was against Rox rite... rox rite was too clean and too slick for leelou, even tho he did not have the better moves... but then again, bboying is not JUST about moves

pissed me off slightly that there wasn't a 3rd and 4th battle, plus the final btw ronnie and rox rite was only 3 rounds.

3rd and 4th WOULD have been a repeat of a previous final- Hong10 vs Leelou!

oh well...

I was also further pissed off cos i did not go 2 the after party at Carfax!

alot of u guys are talking about why Ronnie and Rox rite made it to the final... most of the crowd in JHB agreed.

however, as a bboy around 4 a long time, i can say that i understand where the judges were coming from. Leelou and Hong10 were the perpetual crashers in the competition... that's why they did not go thru... they might have pulled sick moves and stuff, but the excecution just wasn't there...

simple explanation from sum1 who was there:
Ronnie and Rox Rite were the cleanest... i literally saw ronnie crash once, roxrite did not crash at all... plus their level with regards to hitting the beat was unsurpassed.

it all came down to the crashes in the end.

however... the Chinese guy with the blond hair for me should have gone thru...he was kick ass

Ronnie was quite repetitive. I saw the battles and i got tired of what he did. I'm a fan of Ronnie (not as much as i am of hong 10! n_n) but man... That dude got me tired of watching those matches. I saw the final and i was sad about how boring it was.

Damn so many Ronnie haters. I can understand that when you watch Ronnie, at first glance it doesn't seem like he's doing anything extraordinary. But if you seriously watch him, you see that his footwork variations absolutely destroyed Roxrite's freeze footwork freeze transitions. I watched this battle like eight times and Ronnie didn't repeat a single move throughout that entire battle. And anyone that thinks that a ground freeze while laying down grabbing your foot and a pike are the same freezes seriously needs to consider toning down the LSD a little bit.

I'm not saying that he repeteated the moves on the same match, but he did repeated some moves. I saw the final once, and i didn't get exited at all... Far from that, it got me bored... And it's me or this final was too short? I remember 2005's was a little longer.

I like Ronnie's style. He's great to me and i know how complex his moves are. I respect him... And i agree with you, damn Ronnie haters.
