Official statement from The Notorious IBE 2007
With great dissapointment and frustration we have to inform you that The Notorious IBE will not take place at 28th-29th-30th September 2007.
In April of this year The Notorious IBE was forced to move to new location in a new city after closure of Nighttown Rotterdam, which had been the IBE venue since 1998.
The dutch city of Heerlen gave IBE a warm welcome and various grants/funds and a city bank sponsorship were arranged. However on July 3rd 2007 the Heerlen city board got into a crisis after some disagreement on political matters. The case even led the to resignation of a key figure within the Heerlen city board. Because of this quarrel an important decision for IBE will / can now only be made in September after the city board’s summer recess. For this reason the already planned IBE 2007 festival edition in september will have to be postponed.
The IBE organisation immediately started looking into the availability of festival venues to plan new festival dates. Very unfortunately The Notorious IBE now can only take place in the beginning of June 2008.
The Notorious IBE is one of the most respected BBoy events in the world, and we feel sorry to disappoint BBoys and Bgirls worldwide. For the second time circumstances over which we have no control have forced us to set a new date for the festival.
All parties involved in the organisation of The Notorious IBE will continue to work even harder in presenting a better and stronger edition of The Notorious IBE in June 2008.

meh i havent ever really cared about IBE since is the only event i cant physically reach
they wouldnt give me a visa they dont like us colombians anywhere man i swear...

I just got the 1998 - 2005 IBE compilation DVD, and man it MUST come back.
2008 means 10 years of IBE.. well actually 8, but you get the point..

I wish someone would upload the 2004 battles, cause from what I've seen the teams looked great, with Charles, Omar, Crisis, etc. What happen to Crisis anyways?
