Well I started when I was around 14 so 2ish years now for me,
and there is never really a true term for professional bboying//bgirling.
It's just a life of dance and dance of life, "I live to dance, I dance to live."
I live by thattt keep dancing and never stopp.

started when I was 13 - now 36. Crew was called the Unique Rockers and eventually ended up battling the famed Rocksteady Crew who later we became very tight friends with. Still dancing, djing and tagging. To other it was a 'fad' - for me and the crew it was a culture and that you keep for life.

I started when I was 13. My crew taught me a couple things, but mostly I have to teach myself. Basically they told me I should teach myself anyway.

Hmm..

Started a couple of months ago, teach myself most of the stuff and I attend a class which is purely for foundational shit. So my actual moves and things go slowly. I learn slower than a lot of people on here, but I don't really mind

Lately I haven't had much time for bboying because stuff has popped up, and a breaak session takes longer and longer each time...more things to try out, more need for a bigger warm-up and such...so I suggest when you have the time to bboy, TAKE IT because you never know when you'll run out of time until it happens.

Yur.

Too stupid to post something meaningful and intelligent.

Take some advice from my E-twin:

Quann: "dont look in ur closet.... ever... again.... seriously. no bullshit. dont. bad things will happen"

...and just to embarass him...

Quann: I DO HAVE A PERIOD. A MAN PERIOD. I GET ALL ANGRY AND STUFF.

I started this time last year (when i was 17) but i had a couple of months out because of college work and stuff this year so ive technically only been breakin around 10 months now but i seriously cant imagine living without it - i get withdrawal if i dont go to practice haha

and seriously you improve like ten times more just by being confident - i feel like i suck but after a session where ive trained hard and stuff i can see the improvement (our crew have got into habit of filmin each other on our phones and stuff so that at the end of a session so you can see what it looks like and you can change what you dont like next time haha)
