well this is what i c.
as far as moves go bboys generally have more strength so they learn power moves way easier. but bgirls usually have more flexibility so they can do some more stretchy sorta moves. and has any1 noticed that bgirls can do inverts really easily??
and im competition i think it goes 50-50. iv seen noob bgirls beat average bboys in comp but they never make it past the 2nd battle. but that only happens with bias judging. but the thing bout bgirls in battles is that they dont have 2 work as hard 2 impress the crowd.

THANKS jeopardy. that's actually the part i left out i was trying to get across in my previous post. I meant that they get more props, not that they necessarily win most of the battles.

I think if there is a bboy and a bgirl who do equaly well, the girl will be picked by the judges, because the judges will psyche themselves out saying like "I have to not be sexcist..." Then again, bgirls are a little more top heavy, not being inappropriate, just saying.

as many have said before me, bboys joints and body is stronger than girls but they are more flexible, and bboys learn many powermoves faster but since they are more flexible advanced freezes are easier (Invert! looks like they are born with it)
and if you think of the body between a girl and a guy there are difference wich matter a lot when thinking of freezes etc.

Girls have flexibility which makes them potentially dangerous style heads. They can link awesome moves to air babys and chairs. Also if guys haven't noticed, women may have less strength but they also have less weight and body to go around with.

Guys have strength which makes them potential power heads but most like to rock out with style because everyone knows that style wins the judges over. Something girls have almost automatically. Also girls will also have advantage over me coz they got boobs!! I only got man boobs but let's face it, it ain't going to help me in the real world.

•Girls ABSOLUTELY DO get chosen over guys who beat them quite a lot.
•There is 1 bgirl to every 100 bboys (approximation), thats a tough life.
•Girls have a more difficult time building strength but a much easier time building flexibility, thats just how our genetics work.
•Girls severely overuse bridges, and inverts/hollows (mainly inverts).

Girls have disadvantages in learning freezes and footwork because your center of balance is near the stomach so you girls cant rest on your foot like guys. Freezes might be harder but you just have to work on that. And there arent that many b-girl instructors so just adapt to your b-girl-ness.

Just for the record I don't know many if any bboys who are good at footwork that put more than the absolute minimal amount of weight on their feet... it just doesn't make logistical sense since it limits your movement, speed, range of motion, ect.

I'd say the more logical argument is that girls have a difficult time replicating that because of the difficulty they would have building arm muscle compared to boys.
