I'll just start off by saying the majority rappers today have no intention of supporting hip-hop culture. If you don't support the culture, then you aren't really hip-hop.

I did date a bboy/dancer... it really depends on personality because it annoyed me when we'd go to school dances (he was a high school bf) and he'd pass me up with skill..sometimes i feel like i should be the dancer one. =/

I wouldn't mind dating a hot bgirl as long as she looks pretty or hot <3
But my true goal is to find a girl who can do the flare.....and marry her.

Lol I had that problem too for a while. Everybody would be watching my boyfriend, then me and be like, "so what about you?"
And I'd have to go, "Ehh...I don't dance" ^_^"
And then I started tap, jazz and bboyin (yeah, it's possible to do those at the same time. lol.) and now i'm more passionate about dance than he is. But he's still better than me.
Well, it's nice being able to bboy beside him.

I remember trying to get a couple of my old girlfriends to start breaking.
One had toprock that looked like she was having an epileptic fit.
The other couldn't hold herself in a pushup position for more than 5 seconds.
Yeah, I'm obviously not dating either of them anymore.

LMFAO. Rhythmically challenged girlfriends ftw.
In all seriousness though, it doesn't matter to me. If she can dance, that's a plus, if her personality is dope as hell and it shows through the dancing, it's even doper.
My girl can dance she just doesn't think she can lol.. and she wants to get into dancing (either hip-hop choreo, poppin', lockin', or b-boyin'), and even as much as I dislike hip-hop choreo, I'll support her if she starts. But for some odd reason she thinks she has to lose weight before she starts any of those dances and I'm constantly telling her weight doesn't matter. =/ I've even taught her toprock already lol.

Lol, me and my boyfriend hate learning from each other, but we're both a bit smug about teaching xD He hates me teaching him because he's been breaking longer than me and because I "make him feel even more stupid" (he's dyslexic) and I hate learning from him because I'm the smartass nerd and because he usually teaches me wrong.
But hey, we all love that feeling of satisfaction. xD

yo scaraken
haha i dont mean this question offensively, more as an actual question, but im wondering
is your bboyfriend good?
cuz i mean, youre 13 right. so im assuming he's about 13-14, 8th or 9th grade-ish?
me, im 15, but around here, there arent really any GOOD bboys at that age
so do you think your boyfriend's good? ie can he hold his own in a 1v1 competition at a jam?
or is he more of a beginner?

Yeah, he's 13 but he doesn't battle (he doesn't enter or accept them) but he's really good for his age (or at least. comparitively down here) and he learns really fast, so if I told you that down here, you move from junior class to improvers class after two years (yeah, it takes a while), he moved up after less than one year. So yeah.
But his strongest point is making up his own moves, which is mainly how he moved up so quickly. But in sense of form and cleanliness, he's more of a beginner. He's better at making sets and riding the beat.
Did that answer your question?
