i can kindar do em but not that gd anyone got any advise to stay on ure head lol

I can only do tapped headspins atm.. One thing that helps is to tense ur stomach and lock ur hips in place sorta, don't let um drop. To me the leg position doesn't matter really whatever you find comfy..=P but, Most say that having um in a v-shape helps tons. sorry the best I can give ya, mm still a noob. ;P

i can get a spin or two on a good day. my advice would be to practice balancing on your head with out your hands to balance you. it's helping me. also don't let your hips drop cuz you'll fall if that happens. another thing thats helping me is to do them slowly. don't swing your legs, just guide your head around with your hands. it helps you focus more on staying up and less on momentum/speed. also don't be afraid of falling cuz it's gonna happen. if you're afraid of falling you're more likely to focus on that and then because you're not focusing on the move you'll screw up. good luck and at the very least wear a hooded sweatshirt so that you have some head protection. if not you'll screw up your hair pretty bad =)

I can do some tapping and the most spins i could do was like 3..my advice would be to try this exercise: get into a headstand position with ur legs in a V or whatever u feel most comfortable. Then twist ur upper body placing ur hands in front of u without moving ur legs and then later bring ur legs front without falling. so it's a continuous movement where ur upper body moves first and then ur legs come second. I hope i made sense with that..
something else that u can work on could be with getting into a headstand position and ur twisting ur legs in a circular motion to get the feel of it, do like 10 of them.

I got headspins more or less...
U should first get used 2 standing on ur head as long as u like (with ur hands on da floor; practicing it without hands is useless -and kinda pointless)
When u get that, start tapping, make sure u move ur hands together. Dont worry if anyone says if u tap then ure not doing a headspin: we all start with tapping. Practice it till u get comfortable with it. Then start reducing the number of taps; eg if u do 10 taps per turn try to do 8 etc...till u get one tap per turn. Then it'll be easy to let go, U'll do 1 tap each 2 turns and u'll get the hang of it. Spinning will keep u from falling, just make sure ur hips are up.
Don't forget 2 practice on a smooth area, and put something on ur head.

1.) Legs locked and straight
2.) Turn your top (head down to waist) and allow the legs to follow.Legs do NOTHING..
3.) "Walk " them around with your hands at first...
...when you get better balance...this will help you tap...until then use your waist to wind for momentum..
4.)Do NOT arch your back...you will fall backwards, that hurts..keep your torso completely locked ....tighten your abs and shoulders
5.) BREATHE...and practice breathing...or else you will lose balance and fall due to lack of oxygen alone..
6.) PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE....

Thats it!

Like no hair at the top of your head. ;P any just look around theres plenty of places to get beanies or what ever you went..type that word in google, lotta sites will come up. If you want a helmet any skater shop would do the trick..or bike place idk lol, just search. ;D
I was using a beani for about 2 weeks, and I could get a sloppy one rotation with no taps, but I started using a helm..and you'd be amazed at how much better the balance is, cuz i could get like 3 spins (with a tap per spin), but yea, good luck.

I have curly hair...so i dont have to usually....haha
but in a battle, i pull back my hair....TIGHTLY tie a bandana around it....then I have a thin beanie cap AND then I add my headspin hat to reduce friction and add padding...
works for me...seems to help with not losiong hair too...lol
as for helmets, eh....never worked for me....the balance is different..and I cant see dancing with one on....or battling and then you gotta put on this contraption...kinda disruptive...my 2 cents
I prefer to practice on wood floors...linoleum/vinyl flooring works too....but you dont wanna rip up a cap on concrete...lol
