i been in a couple of battles , but my most remembered battles was with a like 14 year old (damn powerhead).....and yes he won

Battled first time out of state :] wasn't planning on it, but it was a friend of my boys throwing the jam... and they needed another couple pairs to sign up, so he begged me to. O_

I have not yet. lol I really need alot more practice.

But I went to my first breaking event this past weekend and I got soooo hyped! The battles we okay but the cypher was the real fun. I was tempted to just jump in but I had to keep reminding myself that I have no moves yet or at least no cohesive ones. No need for social suicide yet. I was amazed by the dynamics of the cypher. Like how when 2 or more boys or girls wanna go in and how they work it out. I was actually tempted to just try and see if I could get in. lol I also realized how alot of moves are just technique and not strength. I know some of the guides say that too, but its one thing to see it as opposed to trying it at home and falling on your ass.

I walked over to another circle where there was more room to stand and watch but this circle was a lot more relaxed and no one was really rushing to get in. After a couple of people going in there was like 30 seconds of no one jumping in and everyone started looking at me as if it were my turn. I was the only girl watching at that time. lol I just looked up at the ceiling, then the floor, and then I took a small step back and looked back up. Luckily someone when in then.

I cant wait till I can do enough to jump in though.

im still trying to get some more moves down..which may take awhile. just learned some more footwork yesterday. yess!
anyway, i imagine when i finally battle, it'll be an adrenaline rush. id be so hyped

heh...I had a battle with corn...I won! mmmm, tasted good. No, really..even tho im only going on 5 months of bgirling I probably wouldn't mind attemting to do so me sets or somthing, the only problem is no on here bboys. I Guess I could battle on of the cows here..but they're really big o.O

hmm well, my first battle was terrible! it was at a massive event with a huuuge crowd. at least i battled with a crew tho so i only threw down once. i freaked out big time and can't even remember hearing any music so i dread to think what i actually did. i think i just went on for far too long, just going round in footwork stuck in a loop! eventually i managed to get myself into a freeze. the worst thing was i was in the toilet afterwards and heard a girl saying 'that girl was really bad' criiinge!!!
anyway i'm hopefully battling at an event next weekend so fingers crossed i can focus on what i'm doing and not on the people watching (it's gonna be smaller so hopefully less scary!)

this is sorta off topic but a tip for battleing is like..when you get up there, dun think of nething, just tell yourself your there to dance.. lol it soudns weird but yeh try it sometime when ur up there in front of everybody just listen to the music and dance lolz
