Hiya,

I was wondering which shoes you ladies recommend for breaking? Or which shoes are horrible so I know what not to waste my time looking into.
Also, how much grip should they have?

I love dancing in Nike basketball shoes (I tend to buy guy's shoes). I like how they look etc...
Nike Airs... Puma suedes... those are all good. People tend to like shoes that are light so it's less weight and easier to move round in. :]

I was thinking about getting a pair of Asics. I just ordered a pair of Adidas Original Midiru's and was wonder what I should check for. I know nothing so far because I am just starting out. Actually, let me copy my intro and post it in the bgirl intro forum!

some nike air maxes, chucks, vans adidas or nike or whatever slip on shoes, puma rs or cabana racers, reeboks classic, asics gtx ii or something like that...

i wear all black low top chucks, and KSwiss classics, even tho the KSwiss take longer to break in...

Anything that is light. The lighter the shoe the better. I'm also fond of shoes with smooth soles, but thats because I'm very into pivoting my feet which smooth soles work well for.

I currently am in KSwiss but I might try something else when these fall apart.



I'm just another up-and-comer paying dues.
I think I'm possibly the slowest learner on all of bboy.org haha.

My dancing shoes is adidas superstar. I try a lot of shoes, but for me it's the best, because of the rubber toe-cap. In my former shoes my toes always blooded. And the second most important that it doesn't slip too much.

i actually stumbled across this by accident but i found some OP (old school!! Ocean Pacific!) and they were my favorite i have ever used. im sad to say i had to retire them and have not found another pair.
