Get on your toes and start bouncing on them like you're boxing.

..Oh and get your foundational toprocks down..

you should never be flat footed when toprocking. It's all done on the toes.

People say the same thing about having to put bounce in your toprock, it should usually be done, but you dont always have to do so, you dont necesarily have to bounce in tops to make them look good

as for "It's all done on the toes"... thats fucking bull shit, its not ALL done on the toes, even great toprock bboys/bgirls use their heels and even go flatfooted at times during the set

Toprock's coming along well. I'm not sure I see the "bounce" you're referring to though.

My only criticism's are that you are a little flat footed and you're stepping a bit wide but you're still hitting the beats so those are fairly small complaints. But getting on your toes and shortening your steps will help a great deal in transitioning between toprock styles.

Just some stuff you might wanna work on later on down the road.

This is entirely my opinion, and may or may not be useful advice to you, but I really think you should clean your foundation up a tad. I can see you're putting in a lot of originality, but it feels misplaced because it seems your piling it on top of generally weak foundation.

This is my opinion.

I think I get what people are saying when they tell you you need more bounce because I had (still have?) that same problem. I find not letting your heels touch the floor wherever possible a decent, if somewhat patchwork solution, until ya find your groove. Watch ninjabreaka's tops vids if you want a really obvious example of bounce. He's still brushing up on his foundation too, but yeah, he got bounce.

work on foundation, like madd said
I dont highly dis-recommend toprocking without music
( unless your barely learning a new move or somethin )

from what I could see in that video, I think it would look better if you hit the beats harder

from my view, i think u should keep ur body in one place, and only do you move ur feet, like basic toprock, only ur legs bounce left right. uhm it's a bit hard to explain oh wells...
but if u have time try searching for battles on youtube, search for stuff like "bboy battle" or "bboy boty" etc. and watch their toprock, it helps very much ^^
uhm.. also try bent less forward, instead bent ur body backwards. try dancing in front of a mirror so that u could see if it's any better. =/
and if u can, join a local crew, or maybe just watching them bboying.

hope that helps
