i'm still workin on that windmill. i stopped practicing it for like 2 weeks but practicin it again.
anyways, yea i get discouraged sometimes. cuz i see guys that are good, ppl talkin shit, that kinda of stuff. but only thing you can do is just go for it. no one's hella good in the beginning and think of it as motivation. anyways, just do what you like and like what you do. that's my motto anyways.

You have to be realistic about what your body can do and what kind of shape you are in. Are power moves impossible for girls? Hell no. But we do have a disadvantage in upper body strength. Know that low body fat and a good muscle % makes bboying so much either for either sex. I train in bboy and I also do strength training and cardio to up my chances. I still have a hard time with alot of power moves but I get one at a time and do what I can. You just have to want it and to some degree a little bit more than guys do to really succeed at it because it does take extra work or if so blessed the right genetics.

It's taken me almost 6 years (on and off) to get two mills... not even clean yet.
Yeahhhhh... it's hard to come back when you take a break. Don't let yourself get discouraged. Try to find real bboys/bgirls to break with. The crew I chill with support each other and push each other further to help each other get to the goals they all want to achieve. Try to find peeps to chill with on and off the floor, tell them what you want to achieve and ask them to help push you towards your goal... but ultimately it's up to you to push yourself the most. STAY UP.

if anything, asking for advice like this will probably make you feel worse, and closer to giving up.
"how long did it take you to get mills?" "two months" "damn, it's been half a year and i still cant get a rotation. im gonna give up" really, how would this kind of question help YOU anyway, besides tell you about OTHERS' advances? knowing that someone got a freeze in a week isn't going to help you get it in a week; knowing things wont help you; DOING things will

Thanks for the answers guys, I know asking won't help, but I'm a self-learner and it makes me wanna push on knowing that others feel the same way/have felt discouraged. My athletic background is synchronized swimming.. (yeah I know, dancing underwater) and as a result I got big leg muscles and not so great arms. I hit a rough spot and took up smoking and other dumb stuff but I recently quit. =D and I wanna get back up to where I was, and not be sucked in again. Imma keep at it , thx a lot! <33
