just wondering why do so many girls hate male models..

we arent the same.. i know most girls think male models are cute but are probably conceited and pimps.. its not true for alot of us though..
im just wondering bcuz ive been having problem with girls lately judging me just by something i do and how i look before they even get to know me..

i think u shuld cut us some slack and stop living by a stereotype that all of us are there same..

Sometimes I think people attach a stereotype to ALL models. Male or female. That they're puppets stuck on pleasing everyone else to fit an image idealized by society.

its fucked up because this shit only happens to male models..... a guy would beg a female model to be his girlfriend.. i unno im just pissed because this is like the 3rd time that ive been talkin to a cute girl and we having fun and shes liking me,im liking her and when she asks me what i do , i tell her about the modeling thing and all of the sudden its like she slowly strays away from me.. or say "thats cool,ur cute n all but models are just... wow,i dunno.. u can get any girl u want thats alot of pressure" and all this stupid shit im like wtf.. im not like that then she starts talkin about she hates pimps..

I ain't gonna lie man, I see a hot guy, I'll look but i probably wouldn't consider dating him because of the stereotype. I'm sure a lot of us females wonder if a male model will find something better and leave us in the dust which is the fear that holds us back and makes us get cold. But for me, I just have to get to know the person. Would I consider dating a male model? If there's something about him that draws me, I would. Would I think he's a pimp? That shit'll show up on its own, given time. It's not something I jump to at first.

As for you, realize that if you show her the real you, but your job runs her off that quick, she wasn't down and definitely not the person for you.

Women totally don't hate male models--they are simply intimidated by them. And I'm only talking about the ones that fit the description you described: they hear that you are a model, and run the other way.

Do they think you are conceited? Possibly. Do they think you are a pimp? Probably not.

And it works the opposite way too. Of course a guy would love to date a female model, no shit! But that doesn't mean that a guy would not be intimidated by the fact that she's probably had a shitload of hot-looking model boyfriends before you, and that doesn't mean that the guy would not still have a fear that she will leave him for some other better looking/more financially sound guy. So it isn't just a one-way street that male models have to deal with--female models probably deal with the same shit too.
