Not a proper Hip Hop Head... -

Hey you guys(...girls!!). I'm not a proper hip hop head at all. In fact, I would go so far as to say i don't particularly like rap/r&b or hip hop... I heard that most bboys/bgirls embrace at least 2 of the four main hip hop characteristics: breakin', graffin', spittin' and DJin'...
As hip hop is a lifestyle, (not one that i'm really into...) since I just like the breaking and the graff, does that make me a fake-ass motherfucker!? :D

you say hip-hop is a lifestyle, and to many it is. hip-hop is what te individual makes of it. it can be a culture, a lifestyle, a hobby, whatever. you see it as the latter of those, which i have no problem with. i cant expect everyone to like everythign i like as much as i do, i wouldnt rush into a techno club and expect the DJ to stick some Our Lady Peace on and everyone in the club to go crazy. same with bboying, we all like it different amounts. you arent a fake as you are what you say you are, you arent a hip-hop head in your own eyes and i take that as truth, a hip-hop head wouldnt say what you did. took a lotta guts though... someone might come here and flame you but that guy aint me
i dont like hip-hop music either, but thatt doesnt mean i cant be a hip-hop head. theres more to hip-hop you see, i appreciate bboys, poppers (NOT the drug), graffers and the like, and i do a bit of netceein myself, im gonna start bboying too. fact is, you dont have to like fish and chips and greasy fry-ups to be a brit, if you know what I mean

Well it is up to you what ya like....that is life! But ya gotta know that what is seen commercially is not Hip Hop at all. That is just commercial crap so open your mind and you will see there is more than what ya think.
As for the lifestyle part well that is up to the individual. How they see it or live it if they like or not!

to be a hip hop head, you have to like hip hop, considering you have to like the elements, if you dont liek a couple elements, and your just into graffiti, or just into djing, than your just a dj, or just a artist, you can't call your self a hip hop head, and not like hip hop music,

aightm ta me...a hiphop head iz sumoen who learns or appreciates all of tha elements...jus cuz u enjoy breakin but u like otha shit than hip hop dun make it bad or nuthing , jus measn u like breakin, bu dun like hiphop..which to me is odd..jus cuz i luh errbit of hiphop, but whateves..if breakin makes u happy then do it, who cares what eles u like or do man...werd

hip hop heads like all music, but u can't be a hip hop head and not like the music, because the music of hip hop is pretty much the biggest part, Bboying dances to the music, mc's and dj's make the music, only thing that doesnt relate teh the music is graffiti, but sometimes it does, you can't be a hip hop head and not like hip hop music,
