I'm 17 1/2 year-old asian girl. My body is not so familiar to nor is it fit for strength and balance related "activity" such as breakdancing but I do have a great interest in it.
I was wondering, can I ever become good at it if I start now? I want a realistic answer. I can always enjoy it as a hobby but do I have a chance of being good at it or is my body already too "stiffened" for it?
I have no arm strength at all. What exercises can I do to make them stronger? Also, what can I do to improve my balance like for freezes?
Of course you can become good at bboying!!
You're only 17 years old! Teenagers can do anything
You just need to practice slow at first
Muscles will develope over time
Never too old fo anything. When I started this type of dancing I was older than u. I must admit it wasn't my speciality to break and I found that poppin etc was more my thing. Befo I got any good at i tho I had to build up my upper body strength. This really didn't take long and wasn't very difficult. I got a lotta respect from the bboys as a result!
your never old to try anything new!! I'm 14 year old, half asian, half canadian and im a beginner too! so dont worry about it!! dont let the age stop you! Just do it!!
