Hi. I just started a little while ago and i am trying to do freezes like the baby freeze but i can't hold myself up because i am kind of weak and small. Does anyone have any helping iedas to help me get a bit stronger so i can lifted myself up.

well the only way to get the required strength for them is to keep doing them, if you give up, well then thats the end of it

Well you could get in the gym and do some muscle strengthening exercises but most of it is practise and persistance. I had to do all of these things even tho I am a very big person!

It does pink_bubbles it does! I did a little dancing in circle tonight and I managed to fold my body in half....dunno what the move is called...maybe I made it up! I have arthritis in my legs and I can still do it like 20 years ago! It's all in the mind dear! Trust this ol woman!

I agree rap attack lmao! Friends are bad at video taping man hahaha. I tried one time and I did all these crap and then they finally say, "oops i forgot to push record!" grr....lol

Nate The Great-MMMmmm a flare...dunno I think it depends. I have seen even fat people do sum incredible stuff and they were definately not fit. Back in the day no one worked out. In later years the better crews were Martial artists but we all started off unfit. I found that I could do more as a fit person. There was no time frame back then for how long it took to learn a move. Different people learned also according to them really wanting to do it more than fitness!

BgirL FaYtH-One of the problems I have noticed with non-dancers is they they don't get the whole body in shot. They try to be arty farty rather than record the whole thing straight!
I have a collection of videos of me performing (they are all crap) and I can't use any of them. Then there are the videos thta ppl didn't give me. Sum I even paid fo....what a bummer!

man what the hell were u reading? you seriously have no intellect so speak of do you?

pink_bubbles, i had a really similar problem, all of my strength is in my legs and my upper body has always been pretty pathetic so freezes were really hard at first, try doing some sit ups ad press ups everyday, you dont need to do hundreds coz you dont need big muscles to do these moves, just do enough to strengthen the muscles you already have, then as everybody else has said put in the work, bboying is a hard skill to learn, but if you want it enough and you put in the time, you can do anything i promise you.

I find holding turtle freezes helps build the right strength.
