Hey everyone...well i would like to start by introducing myself you all... Well ya'll can call me Sandie_Chick for now... lol or what ever...lol um i currently live up here in Germany, I originally came from San Diego California. I just turned 18 and I would like to get into the breaking life.
My friends here are all up into breaking and all, and I find it interesting and all that other good stuff. I have already begun training (i guess u can call it that) and i am currently trying to learn what they call the "turtle" up here...however in SD they called it the "cricket" so i dont know which one it is. but yeah I can hold myself in postion, and everything however...when it comes to moving...It doesnt work. AnYways...well if anyone has any tips or anything at all that could help me..or just wanna chat...please hit me up on MSN... BT_SD_CHICK@msn.com i would really appreciate it...thanks and i'll be around every now and then... Ciao Bella from the ChiCk |

welcome to bboyin/bgirlin...
sup sandie Uh... yeah so the turtle isn't that hard to do if you build up your upper body strength and can keep your balance... what you want to do is go over to the moves section as a reference... they have very nice helpful tips in there. what I did was just practice doing push ups by raising my leg up and down while in the turtle position. Do not touch your legs on the floor either, it's a really good workout for me that builds up my strength. To get moving you want to take your right hand (if you want to spin left) or left hand (spinning right) and push your self into your desired direction. You want your hand that you are on, to spin with your body or you'll just fall straight on your face. Thats what I do with my turtles... if you're stuck... you can download moves from the gallery... have fun don't give up either or I'll eat you... yeah ![]() |

i think the way i started was top rocking. with that you can boogie and it'll still be breaking. and then after that try some hand stands and poses. |
