ok i needed a new thread to express my ideas.......thoughts and questions. feel free to post any questions here.

here's my first for the forum...
i'm really tired lately, i'm not a veggie so i'm getting enough iron...what's the deal yo??? do u lot eat or drink anything before you bgirl/bboy to give u energy???

Hook yourself up with some One-A-Day complete vitamins. It will provide you with 100% of everything you need.

Foods- Carbs like Spaghetti/salad/bread combo. That's my ritual before a night on the floor. Also rice and fish w/veggies, although fish isn't too filling.

Drinks-Lots of vitamin water or plain water, gatorade and redbull if you need a quick energizer boost. Chocolate and sugar helps me too, although you can crash from sugar too, all these things are temporary fixes for energy bursts.

Warm-up and stretch really well, shoot hoops, take a quick jog just to get the blood flowing. I do this and I'm usually all hyped up after some physical stimulation and ready to dance my @ss off.

If you smoke, don't at least if you really wanna bust. I know from experience in the past, it can make you pretty sluggish.

that's alright, i'mreally tired as well, i've been studying a lot for exams and shit. So, what you have there, is too much mental stimulation and not enough physical. You know how when you get like 12 hours sleep, you wake up feeling like shit, just really tired, well that's what too much studying does to you, and i know you've been in the library a lot lately. If you don't do much physically for a while, like a week (hint hint) then you're going to feel tired naturally because your blood aint movin and the oxygen aint flowin, so go for a run, bugger (aussie slang for 'work it baby') yourself out, and feel the rewards.

consider supplementing with b12 - i started on that shit and my energy jumped WAYYYY up and my feet stopped hurting as well.
Drink a ton of water , when i down about a liter and a half as soon as i wake up , the day nearly always goes well - with or without coffee.
I'd advise you strongly AGAINST shit like red bull - the caffeine/ sugar combo will kill you . If you really want to jack energy for a night and don't care about the aftereffects , you can take some cold/sinus medicine that contains ephedrine , but watch out - that shit is herbal speed and if you abuse it you run serious risks ... but no more really than if you're downing a bunch of red bulls . So choose your drugs wisely.

Try to get enough sleep , even if it's in 20 minute nap spurts. Some yoga before you go to bed will help you sleep deeply and get more quality rest as well. When i was going to uni and working at nights ( as in , putting on heels and working my ass until 3 or 4 in the morning after a full day of classes ) i'd always do yoga when i got home and it helped me tons .

Try boosting your protein , having it first thing in the morning , and eating lighter at night so that you can sleep without wasting energy on digestion. And don't forget to get your exercise. I'll bet you it's cold up in T.O now , so try indoor stuff , even in the morning , like busting some handstands before you get out of your pj's - that'll do a bunch for energy as well.

Check that you're breathing fully.

But out of all of this , i suspect that you just need more H2o and sleep - that's usually what happens when it gets cold and you get stressed.

ok, this has nothing to do with hip hop.

I made a bet with a few mates that if samoa beat england in the world cup they'd all have to epilady their arms. lol, samoa lost, so i had to epilady my arms. ok, do you all know how much it hurts, 10 times more than waxing, and i've got man hair. Now, my arm is still scarred from the pimple rash that came out after, the pimples are gone, but there is still a scar, aight, this is some gay shit i know, but can anyone give me some ish that will help the scarring heal.

get some vitamin e capusules, pierce them with a pin and squeeze the gel out onto the scared regions....that's what i used to minimise scaring from an old nose piercing, i have no scars now! also u can ge bikini rash creme, its for irritated hair folicles, it minimises redness and ichiness...try that too

hehe, thanx D, when i went in to buy the tool from hell, i felt so gay. I was at the counter with all these people around, and the lady says to me, "would you like to look at the shavers?", and i paused and said, "cough cough, ah, no, the epilady thanks", hehe, she gave me a weird look. But, had to go through with the dare, else face public humiliation. So, it paid off. so vitamin E capsules ey, done and done.

A body without a mind can't move....and a mind without a body can't communicate......Like in a chemical reaction, if you don't want one substance to be a limiting agent, you get more of it....in other words, if your mind is weak, you need to strengthen it, or your body'll go to waste.

As for tired.......I won't go into natural medicine again, since it'd actually be one of those things that're way out there......but you could try accupuncture or something. Supposedly, that helps with irregular sleeping habits....and speaking of not bein' a vegetable, drink some V8....always does the trick for me.

Oh yea.....and about goin' onto a vitamin for an energy boost (I think electron mentionned b12 boosting her energy, was it?) Those can be like steroids....you become dependant on 'em, and when you run out of B12, you won't be able to do certain things you could do WITH B12.....sort of like headspinning with a helmet. You learn that, and you might not be able to do one without....actually, that probably wouldn't happen with B12 in particular....but you gotta watch yourself, cuz for example, steroids work as well, but are an extremely unwise choice.

actually , you can't become dependent on B12 - after your body has replenished it's stores you just don't want or need to take it any longer. I had a total of 14 capsules and now i'm done with it. It gets depleted if you are vegitarian and don't eat red meat ( which i was for about 12 years ) but once they're back up it's redundant.

Supplements , when prescribed by someone who knows what they are talking about, can be fantastic for rebuilding your body's systems - you have a lot of different sources for energy in your body - each gland can produce it (adrenal, pituitary, thyroid and so on) and we'll deplete those over time if we arent careful .

NOt the same as steroids or stimulants , which create the illusion of more energy or strength but actually TAX your body's systems when you go to do shit.

as per usual u are right on, i don't drink enough h20. i'll get that remedied soon enough. umm...handstands, i wish i could do those in my house, honestly, we have no room to do it in my place, its small and crowded. i do however try to stretch as soon as i wake up.

You're right, it's not possible with B12.......but I meant that certain vitamins can actually be harmful, if taken in surplus.....IE, Vitamin C won't hurt if u take it in surplus.....but taking it in surplus means like this: Eating an orange gives about 100% of the daily recommended serving of vitamin C......so if u eat and orange AND take a capsule, you're takin' surplus.......I'll try and find some articles on the subject.
