get her in here - 10-01-2003, 11:14 PM

there's only so much boys can tell her she needs the company of other bgirls. get her an account and we'll help as much as we can. she needs to find the motivation inside herself though, there's only so much people can do for u, but after that you're on you own.

Hello Caccarat-
Ok here is my advice or more like some practical truth. For starters Try to convince her not to care about what other people think....Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events and little minds discuss people. What i mean is is that those people who she is so concerned about talking about her usually are the ones to chicken shit to try something new or to be the first in the circle so to speak. A true breaker offers nothing but support to their brethren and if they do say anything to her it will only be advice. Also let me just say that i am such a baby breaker its not even funny and i have a long way to go but i continue to try and try even in large groups of people. You can't allow yourself to be paralyzed in your mind and not do something because there may come a day when you wont be able to. If she truly is that worried then take the bullet for her....Jump in that circle and do the stupidest thing you can think of to draw attention to you and away from her even if its the fucking macarena. I wish you the best of luck and hope this helps!

wow , she sounds exactly like me. I get so freaked out to throw down in front of some people that i can't even practice in the same room as them without dealing with sheer fear every step i take . And i'm WAY better practicing with other girls than boys . I think you need to get her comfortable with herself and her dancing , and yeah, get her in here , we'll try to help .

I know that i find it super helpful when Ten comes over and says " you'e gonna learn THIS now " and will just teach me something, kamikaze style. Also when he says " that's dope , try it this way "
and keeps on believing in me no matter what .

Another thing - make sure that she knows you're her boyfriend not because of her dancing skills but because you love her, and that won't change whether or not she's got a tight six step . Somewhere that's probably coming in to play as well.

you must have been a bgirl.... because the only moves that you pulled on me were heartbreakers
