ay this is kewl bein as how da boiz think we caint kick it. i been breaking since i was maybe eleven, im sixteen now. i can krump, freestyle, and azz shake. grew up in va but came ta wv ta stay out of trouble. no one here really breaks, much less gurls. i used to live in fairfax where you could always find some1 ta pick up wit. i do my own poses and stalls even my own unique footwork but i encounter alot uh trouble pullin off power moves. creativity be not somen i lack. im new ta this site but have used it as reference in tha past. so i holla to all the gurls gettin hyped up and shuttin down da boiz. comuh n be my kabayan yall!

Hi! well, im new to this and all....people call me ritchan...i've been learning from youtube tutorials...maybe been going a month...still suck...

i got some questions.

i see people in the vids having like braces on their elbows and wrists, do those really help, and if so, where can i get one, cuz my wrists hurt like hell after a practice session...i have small wrists...

how can i find more bboys in my area? i wanna try to find sumone to learn from instead of trying to teach myself...

hey, srry havent been here in FOEVA..wrk and skoola nd all that ish. but yo, how it do ladies?! hope ur keepin up on the bgirlin and all.

as for Ritchan: yes the braces help. But the biggest issue with wrists is stretching them out and letting them become accustomed to holding and moving ur body weight- be prepared for pain. elbow braces are more for impact and spinning, and yes they do help.

for bboys in ur area, hit up the Hook Up Forum. U might find a thread already there , or u can post ur own. Hope this helps, love!

where do you get those wrist braces and stuff? also, are there any particular shoes that work best? (i see alot of converse) also, i did hit the hook up forum and theres an entire thread for my area and i already found a guy at my school. small world huh. lol anyways, i've felt some of the pain today....in an attempt at a baby freeze..it didnt work...

get ur gear from any sporting goods store, all u need is regular wrist bands. I rock in Chucks (converse) and kswiss, my boys rock in chucks, kswiss, pumas, hell, even japanese tabi (long story), so whatever ur comfy in, go for it, but just dont get anythign too heavy on the bottom..
