Go to sessions and practice, and if you're nice, show you're determined and people like you, they will help you along the way. Or you can use your moneys for lessons at a dance studio. I think PMT Dance Studios has lessons and maybe Broadway Dance Center. Look it up, google is your friend. But you will not get far being locked up inside a dance studio.

learn yourself and go to jams or friendup with some bboys/bgirls and ask them for tips and help. My friend Kev1 taught me some but now i just learn myself and i ask him for tips and how to improve

to whoever said youtube works i agree i learned my flares airtrack and 1 handed hops off there i just watched people form and instrunctional videos and recorded my self to find out what i was doing wrong but its not bad to session with people and learn a lil from them

teaching yourself is not a bad idea, but some people are bad a getting the concept of moves down from reading tons and tons of text and/or watching videos because they dont see the exact movements from some videos.
so sometimes getting help from a teacher or instrutor or whatever is better because you will get a personal close up look to how they are doing it and thier movements so you dont get it wrong, and be like wtf i was doing this all wrong. sorry i dont know any teachers in that area =P im no help to you x] |
